They are most popular for sightings of leopards, elephants and occasional sightings of tigers. These jungles are also home for sloth bear, sambars, Indian Gaurs, Many species of butterflies, reptiles, insects and hundreds of species of birds. Elephant camp in Annamalai offers opportunity to get friendly with tamed elephants. Though degraded, Valparai hills are famous for sightings of Lion Tailed Macaques, elephants, leopards and Gaurs in tea estates themselves. However inside Kerala’s boarders lies a superb thick rainforest and exploring it for entire is going to be the most awesome experience.

Post bf departure to visit Athirapalli waterfall and Vazacchal rain forests with packed lunch. Late evening return to resort .
