Former hunting reserve of Maharajas of Rewa, the bandhavgarh National Park is known for the highest density of Tigers. It is spread over about 500 sq.km and a part of the Vindhya mountain range. Its topography varies from steep ridges, undulating forests and open meadows. Bandhavgarh is blessed with varied vegetation from tall grasses to thick sal forest making it a suitable habitat for a number of species. A safari through the forest gaurantees exciting wildlife sightings and some picturesque landscapes.
