Highlights

High in the Himalayas is the kingdom of Bhutan, where success boils down to the gross national happiness index (GHP) instead of the gross national product, and where travelers have only been allowed to visit since 1974. This place is known as The 'Land of the Thunderdragon' with 80% forest cover that transport you to a world of dzongs (monasteries) through the knife-edged cliffs and craggy mountains. Not just towns but many beautiful valleys nestled within the snow-capped Himalayan range are very popular for their rich cultural diversity and scenic beauty.  As diverse culture of Bhutan is, as diverse is it’s biodiversity. Bhutan is home to numerous species of endemic flora and fauna and one can enjoy the beautiful birds, mammals and butterflies while travelling from place to place.
